Professional Activities:
Transportation and Air Quality Research Intern, National Association of Regional Councils (NARC), Washington, DC (Summer 2003)
-Developed guidelines for regional councils from sixth conference workshop
integrating transportation and air quality, and edited entire guideline document.
Researched and wrote articles on air quality trends and intelligent transportation
systems for NARC quarterly newsletter. Reviewed NARC grant proposals
Attended and summarized congressional and NGO meetings for weekly
membership e-newsletter.
Research Intern, National Science Foundation, Orono, Maine (Summer 2001)
-Research Experience for Undergraduate fellowship at the University of Maine,
Orono, Designed experiments, collected data, and performed project management
duties for bridge project. Internship included weekly seminars on current topics
in science and technology.
